Blackburnian Warbler + I Woudn't Want to be a Bug

The striking red-orange throat and yellow head / black markings coupled with its black and white body provide a distinct look for this Blackburnian Warbler. It was foraging high in the canopy looking for food.

This is the first that I have seen and its head didn't seem to match its body at all.

Another shot of this magnificent neotropical migratory warbler. It was a great way to start the day. Left click to enlarge.

This Worm Eating Warbler was foraging low to medium height inspecting every leaf and limb or caterpillars. Left click to enlarge.

It was thorough and when it found a caterpillar it was a goner.

The Prothonotary Warbler scrutinized the situation as well searching for a tastly morsel.

The Yellow-Throated Warbler was also about scouring the limbs and leaves for any bugs or caterpillars. I'm glad I wasn't a bug in a tree today. Left click to enlarge.
